North Ronaldsay Mutton

Mey Selections North Ronaldsay Mutton is available throughout October – March. However, sheep are only gathered depending on demand. Mey Selections North Ronaldsay Mutton is available to both the foodservice market and individuals who would like to sample this unique product from the most northerly of the Orkney Isles.
Mey Selections North Ronaldsay Mutton is only available in whole butchered carcass formats. However, please note that you can either place an order for a whole butchered or un-butchered carcass. If you order a butchered carcass it will be supplied in individual cuts which are vacuum packed and presented in a box suitable for the refrigerator/ freezer.

If specific butchery cuts are required please contact tracyw@mey-selections.com. We are flexible on carcass format and butchery and can meet any requirements.
Note: The carcass weight can vary from 12 kg – 18 kg, with the average carcass being 15 kg.
Please note the last gathering until autumn/ winter 2009 was completed on Saturday March 14th. However, any customers based in London should contact tracyw@mey-selections.com as there still have a few carcasses in London.
Option 1 - Whole Mutton Carcass
No Butchery, the carcass weight can vary from 12 kg – 18 kg Approx price is £6.20 per kilo, based on 15kg carcass - £93. There may be a slight variation in the weight of the carcass. If this is the case, we will either credit or charge your card with the difference. By placing this order you accept this condition.

Option 2 - Bone-In-Mutton Carcass
2 Hind Legs, 2 Shoulders, 2 Trimmed Racks, 2 Flanks
Approx price is £7.22 per kilo, based on 15kg carcass - £108.30. There may be a slight variation in the weight of the carcass. If this is the case, we will either credit or charge your card with the difference. By placing this order you accept this condition.
